“For as I say, the world itself has changed. There was a time when a traveller, if he had the will and knew only a few of the secrets, could send his barge out into the Summer Sea and arrive not at Glastonbury of the monks, but at the Holy Isle of Avalon; for at that time the gates between worlds drifted within the mists, and were open, one to another, as the traveller thought and willed.
“For this is the great secret, which was known to all educated men in our day:
that by what men think, we create the world around us, daily new.”
~ Marion Zimmer Bradley, “The Mists of Avalon”
The last line of that passage has become not only a mantra, but a definable truth, for me over the past many years. As I have travelled along my spiritual path, pondered the mysteries of life, and engulfed myself in the study and practice of energy healing, the truth of those words has become very obvious and clear. The power of our thoughts (let alone when you add words and deeds to them) is all that we need to make the world the place we want to live in.
So, I’d like to know ~ what are you thinking?
And I offer ~ Think Kindness. Think Generosity. Think Compassion.
Contemplate Infinity.
BE love.
Welcome to Avalon.
The On My Mind page is where you’ll find recent ramblings from me; the other pages will be updated as new information is available. I hope you’ll explore from time to time; move through the mist and discover what lays right before our eyes. With Blessings ~ Linda

The article on anger is very good. I feel the point that anger arises, perhaps masks, a deeper emotion.
I almost want to tie a string around my finger to remind me to pause, and be very conscious when I feel myself becoming angry!
thanks,
